Area Sales Team Lead at Evolve People Solutions Dar es Salaam

Our client is looking for a highly efficient Sales Lead to be responsible for ensuring sales KPIs are achieved as per set targets in the designated sales area. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in a growing and exciting company and can progress quickly in their field.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving sales as per set targets in the designated sales area
  • Performs customer research to enable customer acquisitions
  • Engages new and existing customers to initiate sales
  • Ensures that weekly and monthly sales targets are met by consolidating sales reports from the regional sales team
  • Monitors the daily achievement of each region sales rep in the team to ensure effectiveness and productivity
  • Maintains relationships with large scale growers and agents
  • Handles sensitive customers complaints to maintain strong relationships
  • Manages team performance, coaching, mentoring and addresses performance issues promptly
  • Ensures that all people issues including attendance, leave, overtime & disciplinary issues are handled in cooperation with the HOD & HR personnel
  • Coordinates and plans for manpower requirements according to set targets

Minimum Qualifications and Skill:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or BSc in Animal Husbandry and other related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and distribution
  • Must reside in Dar es Salaam
  • A people person with strong people and customer service skills
  • Integrity is a key driver
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills (Computer literacy, knowledge in Inventory management systems)
